MMI Names Award Recipients

The Money Management Institute announced it will honor 4 industry leaders during its forthcoming annual convention.

MMI, Washington, will present its 2008 Pioneer of Investment Consulting Award to:

o Peter Amendolair, a founding MMI board member while at Merrill Lynch and now a senior managing director with Oppenheimer Consulting Group.

o Mark Pennington, also a founder of MMI and its second chairman of the board in 2005, who is partner at Lord Abbett & Co. L.L.C.

o William Taylor, a founding governor while at MFS Investment and now at Evergreen Investments.

o William Turchyn, credited with originating the concept of MMI as a stand-alone association to serve the managed-accounts industry. He is a partner with Mariner Investment Group, Boston.

MMI’s annual convention will be held March 18-19 in Boston.
