LIDMA Puts Direct Life Standards Plan Into Action

The Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association says some insurers and producers are implementing the recommendations it has developed for streamlining direct sales efforts.

The “process improvement” initiative includes electronic signature, electronic delivery and credit card processing technology and standards, according to LIDMA, Woodstock, Ga.

LIDMA is hoping direct sales process improvements will reduce administrative costs enough to make serving “middle market” families more attractive, the group says.
