A retirement services firm will be selling a product from Prudential Financial Inc. that is aimed at 401(k) participants ages 50 and older.
Newport Group Inc., Heathrow, Fla., will be selling the IncomeFlex retirement income program from Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., Prudential says.
Older workers in 401(k) plans can use the option to guarantee access to a lifetime stream of income, Prudential says.
Prudential Retirement Insurance and Annuity Co., Hartford, a Prudential subsidiary, will use its general account to back the guarantee, Prudential says.
