The broker-dealer arm of Jackson National Life Insurance Company has added direct business processing for mutual funds to its Electronic Order Entry representative workstation system.

National Planning Holdings Inc., Santa Monica, Fla., a unit of Jackson National, Lansing, Mich., says electronic signature and other technology can eliminate the need for affiliated reps using the Web-based EOE system to fill out paper forms when conducting mutual fund transactions.

Reps also can use the updated EOE system to view and update client account information on the Web, National Planning says.

Other changes to the EOE system include the addition of a Client View screen, which displays client information along with all of the accounts with which the client is associated, and a Trade Log screen that displays account activity for up to 24 months of a rep’s EOE orders.
