The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance is converting the old Long Term Care Awareness Week into Long Term Care Awareness Month.
The LTC awareness week has taken place during the first full week of each November since 2001.
This year, the campaign will last the entire month of November, according to Jesse Slome, executive director of the AALTCI, Westlake Village, Calif.
A month-long event campaign will allow for time for more educational programming, Slome says.
