Two companies are offering to call financial professionals’ clients on a regular basis.

Javelin Marketing Inc., Concord, Calif., and Customer Management Systems, Hudson, Ohio, have started FAcontact, Walnut Creek, Calif., a joint venture that will call an advisor’s existing clients by telephone every 3 months and send personalized mail every 3 months.

The callers will help advisors find out whether clients want anything or are about to go through changes in their lives, according to Javelin and Customer Management.

The joint venture also will send a monthly e-mail newsletter to clients enrolled in the program.
