An insurance education group is adding health insurance and critical illness insurance to the list of life-health products that it is trying to showcase through a national consumer education effort.
The Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education, Washington, says it wants insurance professionals to send it stories for its 2008 realLIFEstories Client Service Award program about how health insurance and critical illness policies have helped clients overcome emotional and financial obstacles.
As in past years, LIFE also is seeking stories for the program about how life, disability and long term care insurance policies have helped clients overcome obstacles.
A panel of judges will choose the 4 winning stories. The winning stories will appear in an advertising section in Newsweek, and the 4 winning insurance professionals will receive an all-expenses paid trip to an award banquet in San Diego during the annual convention of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Falls Church, Va., LIFE says.
The entry deadline is March 31.
