Regence is joining the movement to encourage consumers to share views on physicians with other consumers.
Regence, Portland, Ore., a health insurer group that provides health coverage in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington, will be launching a member feedback feature on its Web site this spring, the company says.
In March, Regence will start by letting members see other members’ responses to the numerical portion of member satisfaction forms.
In April, Regence plans to let members see comments as well as ratings, the company says.
WellPoint Inc., Indianapolis, is having Zagat Survey L.L.C., New York, set up a Web-based member provider rating system for its subsidiaries.
