An insurer is continuing to update its life insurance offerings.

Nationwide Financial Services Inc., Columbus, Ohio, has introduced the Nationwide YourLife SUL survivorship universal life policy.

The policy is designed mainly for couples or business partners ages 50 to 70, the company says.

Features include an Automated Premium Monitor service that can help financial professionals monitor a policy’s no-lapse guarantee and protect against late payments.

A Select Estate Protection rider is a term rider that can provide extra death benefits for the beneficiary during the first 4 policy years.

Another option, a Policy Split Option rider, can split a policy into 2 in the event of a divorce or tax law changes, Nationwide says.
