A holding company is moving the official homes of two insurance subsidiaries.
Torchmark Corp., McKinney, Texas, is redomesticating United American Life Insurance Company and Globe Life And Accident Insurance Company to Nebraska, from Delaware, and it says it plans to redomesticate other subsidiaries to Nebraska later this year.
Torchmark is focusing on Nebraska because of concerns about premium tax rates and the size of Nebraska's skilled labor pool, the company says.
