John Gatesman

AIG American General’s Specialty Markets Group, a business unit of American International Group Inc.’s (AIG) domestic life insurance companies, has named John Gatesman as president of the affluent and corporate markets group, which markets corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) and bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) to Fortune 1,000 companies and to mid- to large-size banks. In addition, the group serves the high-net-worth market segment with private placement life insurance and variable annuities. Gatesman joins AIG American General with 21 years of experience in the insurance industry.
