  • 45%: Percentage of voters who are not confident they will have the money to cover their fixed monthly costs during retirement. Around 20 million voters, one in six, don’t have any retirement plan.
  • 47%: Percentage of women surveyed who are unsure if they will be able to enjoy retirement security.
  • More than half of people earning between $30,000 and $50,000 per year don’t know if they will have any security in retirement. Forty-three percent of those earning between $50,000 and $80,000 feel the same way.
  • Almost one-third of voters say they will rely heavily on Social Security to pay for a great deal of their retirement. One in five expects to pay for retirement by continuing to work.
