The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies has launched the NAILBA Education Excellence Award program.
NAILBA, Fairfax, Va., has given the first education excellence award to Cindy Gentry, president of Brown & Brown Associates P.C., Corpus Christi, Texas, an independent life and annuity brokerage agency.
Gentry, who holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations, was NAILBA’s first education chair and later chair of the NAILBA board. She now is chair of the group’s application pipeline task force.
In 1996, Gentry was president of the Corpus Christi Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
