Presidio Excess Insurance Services Inc. has agreed to bundle a program from Assist America Inc. in with the reinsurance it sells to insurers, health maintenance organizations and self-funded health plans.
Presidio, San Francisco, is a health reinsurer.
Assist America, Princeton, N.J., sells travel assistance benefits that provide advice, emergency transportation services and other services for travelers who have problems while they are traveling 100 miles or more from home.
Presidio will be offering the travel assistance benefits to reinsurance clients along with reinsurance, Assist America says.
