BISYS Retirement Gets New Name

Crump Group Inc. is changing the identity of a newly acquired division.

Crump, Dallas, a large insurance wholesaler, will be rebranding BISYS Retirement Services as “Ascensus.”

J.C. Flowers & Company L.L.C., New York, the private equity firm that owns Crump, acquired BISYS Retirement, part of the old BISYS Group Inc., Roseland, N.J., in August and folded it into Crump.

The BISYS Retirement name and logo will be phased out over the coming months, Crump says.
