The Quebec Blue Cross arm of Canassurance Hospital Service Association has agreed to use software from ClaimVantage Inc. to set up a new claims platform for life and disability claims.
Canassurance, Montreal, will be using the ClaimVantage, ClaimView and ClaimPay systems, according to ClaimVantage, Portland, Maine.
In other technology contract news, Still River Retirement Planning Software Inc., Harvard, Mass., says it has released the 2008 version of its 403(b) Contribution Planner software.
The new version includes 2008 Internal Revenue Service calculation factors, Still River says.
