The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has released an interim rule explaining the terms of the new Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.

The OPM put the voluntary, employee-paid program into effect Dec. 31, 2006, without having regulations in place.

The new interim regulations will help the OPM implement the Federal Employee Dental and Vision Benefits Enhancement Act of 2004.

A copy of the interim rule is available
