Financial School Honors Sparacio

The American College has named Joseph Sparacio to its Alumni Hall of Fame.

The Bryn Mawr, Pa., college organized the college to recognize some of its most avid supporters.

Sparacio is the chief executive officer and managing partner of Island Financial Group, Woodbury, N.Y., a general agency for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, Mass.

Sparacio, who holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and the Chartered Leadership Fellow professional designations, is a member of the American College alumni association and a charter member of the advisor board for the college’s new Center for Ethics in Financial Services.
