New Firm To Help Users Compare DC Plans

Retirement services veterans are starting a company that will try to help employers evaluate defined contribution retirement plans.

Fiduciary Benchmarks Inc., Portland, Ore., will sell qualitative and quantitative plan benchmarking services, the founders say.

The founding partners are Thomas Kmak, former chief executive of the JPMorgan retirement plan services division at J.P. Morgan Chase & Company, New York; Ron Eisen, president of Investment Management Consultants Inc., Portland; and Olena Berg Lacy, a senior advisor at Financial Engines Inc., Palo Alto, Calif.

The main office of the company is in Portland. The company also has an office in Kansas City, Mo.
