Brokers’ Service Marketing Group II L.L.C. raised $70,000 for Rhode Island nonprofits recently by holding a golf tournament.

Brokers’ Service, Providence, R.I., says 130 financial service professionals participated in the event, which was held at the Rhode Island Country Club.

The producers and the life insurers that sponsored them helped Amos House, Providence, an agency that serves homeless people, and Child & Family Services, Providence, an agency that serves parents and children.
