The parent of several large Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans is giving plan members more information.

Health Care Service Corp., Chicago, says the Blues plans it operates in Illinois, New Mexico and Texas will start giving members free, private access to personal clinical summaries through the Web.

The summaries, available through the company’s Blue Care Connection program, will be available in Oklahoma later this fall, according to Health Care Service.

In other insurance technology news:

- MIB Inc., an arm of MIB Group Inc., Westwood, Mass., has shifted its members to the WEB Enabled Business Solutions connectivity system, the group says.

The system, which helps members hook up to MIB computers, relies on standards set by ACORD, Pearl River, N.Y., MIB says.

- Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association – College Retirement Equities Fund, New York, has agreed to use Dialogue document production automation software from Exstream Software L.L.C., Lexington, Ky.
