An insurer has introduced new products for small and midsize businesses that want to fund non-qualified executive benefit plans.
The Wellesley Hills, Mass., U.S. office of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto, has started selling the Sun Executive Variable Universal Life policy and the Sun Executive Universal Life policy.
Both policies offer zero-net loans, emergency travel assistance benefits and charitable giving benefit riders, and they can be sold on a guaranteed-issue basis, Sun Life says.
The VUL policy comes with a choice of 44 investment subaccounts.
