Company Introduces Temporary Ambulance Plans

AirMed International L.L.C. has started selling a medical evacuation arrangement aimed at tourists.

AirMed, Birmingham, Ala., says the cost of its new short-term air ambulance access plans will start at $95 for an individual needing access for a trip of up to 14 days.

Coverage for a family with up to 5 dependents starts at $175 for 14 days.

The company also has added 30-day plans, and it continues to sell student plans and annual AirMed Traveler plans.
