Pacific Life Agrees To Sell Arizona Dealer

Pacific Life Insurance Company has agreed to sell its United Planners’ Financial Services of America unit to the top management of the firm’s general partner, United Planners’ Group Inc.

United Planners, Scottsdale, Ariz., is a national broker-dealer that serves independent registered investment advisors and securities representatives.

Pacific Life, Newport Beach, Calif., and United Planners are not discussing the price of the deal.

Pacific Life first invested in United Planners in 1987.
