AIG Retirement Airs First National Ad Campaign

A retirement services company is running television commercials that use the slogan, “Live longer, retire stronger.”

AIG Retirement Services Inc., Los Angeles, a unit of American International Group Inc., New York, says the TV commercials include examples of laughing, singing, pet owning and other activities that can extend people’s lives.

AIG began airing the commercials Sept. 7 during the women’s semifinals of the U.S. Open tennis tournament on CBS.

BBDO, New York, and PHD Media, New York, produced the campaign.

In addition to the television ads, the campaign includes print ads that will run in business and lifestyle magazines, Web ads, and a Web site at Document Link.

The TV ads will appear alongside NFL and college football games, business and financial news shows, and the Major League Baseball playoffs and World Series, AIG says.
