The Warwick, R.I.-based group benefits division of AmWINS Group Inc. has completed the acquisition of Carolina Benefit Associates L.L.C.
AmWINS, Charlotte, N.C., is a wholesale insurance distributor.
Carolina Benefit, founded in 2002, administers benefit plans and financial services arrangements for employers and associations, and it also sells insurance to individuals and small businesses.
The price of the deal and other terms were not available, AmWINS says.
The final terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
