A managed care company will be airing two new television spots this fall.

Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, Calif., says one of the ads, part of the fourth season of its $40 million Thrive advertising campaign, will show a young boy talking about the lessons he has learned about healthy eating and active living.

The second ad will show a woman with cancer scheduling her radiation treatments between lunch with friends and taking a walk, to illustrate the importance of helping patients get back to their normal lives.

The ads will run in California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Ohio, Oregon and Washington state.

The Thrive campaign was developed by Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Mich.
