NPH To Help Reps Pass On Practices

National Planning Holdings Inc. has chosen an outside firm to help representatives who want to buy planning firms, sell planning firms or arrange to retire.

Business Transitions L.L.C., Portland, Ore., which does business as FP Transitions, will help NPH-affiliated advisors put together buy-sell agreements, internal succession plans and third-party practice sales, and it also will help the advisors with disaster planning programs, according to NPH, Santa Monica, Calif., an arm of Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Lansing, Mich.
