Assurant Health, Milwaukee, has announced the introduction of ExpressYes, giving qualified consumers the ability to apply for and secure Individual Medical insurance coverage immediately.
ExpressYes was developed to provide a consumer-friendly alternative to the traditional application process that usually involves filling out lengthy, complicated forms (some with more than 200 questions) and can take 4-6 weeks (or longer) for approvals.
In contrast to the voluminous paperwork required for typical applications, the new Assurant Health process has just 17 simple questions. And instead of weeks or months of anxious waiting, consumers find out right in their agent’s office whether they qualify for coverage. This is fully underwritten major medical insurance. Even applications that are not instantly approved are quickly processed so that most consumers will get answers in less than two days.
