A Midwestern insurer is coming out with a new version of an employee benefits product.
Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, says it will be introducing the new Dental Series II product in a number of states.
Principal will offer Dental Series II on an employer-paid basis and an employee-paid basis.
Employers and employees can pay for riders to cover products and services such as dental implants, temporo-mandibular joint treatment, cosmetic services, treatment of dental accidents and orthodontia coverage.
Principal also will be offering a lifetime deductible feature and a maximum accumulation benefit feature. The maximum accumulation benefit feature will give plan members the ability to roll over part of their unused annual maximum into the following year, Principal says.
