“Sicko” brought in $4.5 million this weekend, or about $10,200 per screen.

Box Office Mojo L.L.C., Burbank, Calif., has published that box office revenue figure in its tally of U.S. theatrical film revenue totals.

The Michael Moore film, which criticizes the U.S. health finance system, ranked ninth on a list of the top box office generators, according to Box Office Mojo.

The Weinstein Company, New York, financed the film and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., Toronto, is distributing the film.

The film appeared on 441 screens this past weekend, and the Weinstein Company says it plans to add 200 more screens Tuesday.
