CIGNA HealthCare has agreed to use software and services from SAS Institute Inc. to identify plan members who might need wellness and health advocacy services.
CIGNA HealthCare, Bloomfield, Conn., is a unit of CIGNA Corporation, Philadelphia, which has been doing business with SAS for 20 years, according to SAS Institute Inc., Cary, N.C.
In other technology news:
- ConnectYourCare Inc., Hunt Valley, Md., has added a multi-bank feature to a system that can help health plans manage health savings account programs.
The new feature will enable health plans to offer employees access to several HSA banks at the same time while keeping their own relationships with other banks, ConnectYourCare says.
- Eldorado Computing Inc., Phoenix, which does business MphasiS Healthcare Solutions, says UltraBenefits Inc., Worcester, Mass., has agreed to use its JackRabbit Report Server to create health benefits management and customer service reports.
