Dental Insurer Adds Distributors

Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America has signed general agencies in Florida and North Carolina.

Renaissance Life, Okemos, Mich., a unit of Renaissance Health Service Corp., the parent of the Delta Dental plans that operate in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee, says it will be selling its Renaissance Dental group dental plan in Florida through Brokers Insurance Group, Fort Myers, Fla.; Burkett & Associates Insurance & Financial Services Inc. Jacksonville, Fla.; and Consumer Group Services Inc., Lauderhill, Fla.

In North Carolina, Renaissance Life will be selling dental coverage through the Brokerage Resource Inc., Durham, N.C., and Mel Schlesinger of The Rainmakers Group Ltd., Winston Salem, N.C.
