UnitedHealth Expands In Washington State

UnitedHealth Group Inc. announced it is introducing new products and services in Washington state to provide businesses there with expanded access to affordable health care coverage.

United Health, Minnetonka, Minn., says the products will be available statewide to employers with 51 or more employees.

New offerings will include network-based medical plans, consumer-driven health plans with health savings accounts and health reimbursement accounts, life insurance and dental, vision and disability services.

The company also announced it has appointed Jonathan Hensley as CEO of its Northwest region, which includes health plan operations in Washington and Oregon.
