SHPS Unveils Health Risk Analysis Tool

A benefit plan company has developed a tool an employer may be able to use to identify specific health risks and measure the effectiveness of efforts to control those risks.

SHPS Inc., Louisville, Ky., says it already has tested new health risk engine on some of its employer clients.

The system can be adjusted to reflect the demographics of an employer’s employees, and the system can provide advice about specific ways to use SHPS wellness programs, care management programs and other programs to help individual employees cope with the risks that they face, SHPS says.
