The officers and board members of the Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association recently set association priorities for 2007-2008.

LIDMA, Woodstock, Ga., founded in 2007-2008, represents producers, carriers, exam companies, direct marketers and other companies involved with direct sales of life insurance and related products to consumers.

Priorities will include representing members in legal and regulatory efforts, fostering market research projects, increasing consumer awareness of life insurance, encouraging networking and collaboration, and working to improve processes in areas such as electronic policy delivery and use of credit cards to make premium payments, LIDMA says.
