A managed care company is hiring about 200 people for an office in Nashville, Tenn.
The CIGNA Government Services L.L.C. unit of CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, is adding the employees because it has won a contract to be the administrative contractor for the federal government’s Jurisdiction C Durable Medicare Equipment program.
Jurisdiction C includes 15 southern states and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The CIGNA unit will process Medicare Part B claims related to durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies.
CIGNA is organizing job fairs to hire people for claims, quality control, technical, management and supervisory jobs.
