URAC Updates Accreditation Standards

A health quality group is tweaking its benchmarks.

URAC, Washington, says it is reorganizing and streamlining the standards used in its accreditation programs.

The update, which consists mainly of minor technical modifications, affects programs such as the URAC health plan accreditation program and the URAC health Web site accreditation program, URAC says.

Comments on the changes are due March 19.
