An online resource on stock compensation–myStockOptions–has launched a new level of membership, specifically for financial planners, wealth advisors, and CPAs. myStockOptions Pro (MSO Pro allows users to track and model stock grants for multiple clients. Advisors can also communicate with clients, using customized PDF reports and an online portal where advisors can let selected clients view their grant records and use basic calculators and modeling tools.

MSO Pro Members start by entering their clients’ grant information into the myRecords portfolio-tracker. Once the stock grant data is entered, they can switch between 5, 10, 25, or more clients when using the calculators and modeling tools, which let advisors crunch numbers and run projections. Results graphically show a range of data, including net gains, exercise costs, and taxes. Advisors can then compare net gains at different stock prices and tax rates, and print PDF reports.

MSO Pro members have full access to myStockOptions.com’s library of continually updated content on stock options, restricted stock/RSUs, stock appreciation rights, employee stock purchase plans, and the full range of related topics in taxation and wealth management. The Scenarios tool gives advisors the ability to save results from the tools, storing various strategies for later review. They can save the stock price and as-of date that they entered or change them to current values every time they view the scenario. Advisors can add their own notes to the saved result as well.
