Watson Wyatt Worldwide says it has completed a previously announced acquisition of an affiliate, Watson Wyatt Brans & Company.

Watson Wyatt Brans, Amsterdam, an actuarial consulting firm, reported $37 million in annual revenue in 2006 and now has 180 employees. In addition to the office in Amsterdam, the company has offices in Eindhoven, Nieuwegein, Purmerend and Rotterdam.

Brans & Company was formed in 1945 and started out as an actuarial firm. The firm later added retirement consulting services and now offers a wide range of employee benefits and investment consulting services.

Watson Wyatt, Washington, bought a stake in Brans & Company and turned it into a partnership affiliated with Watson Wyatt in 1999.

Another arm of Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Watson Wyatt Insurance Consulting B.V., will continue to operate a separate insurance consulting business in the Netherlands, according to Watson Wyatt.
