New Chief Restructures Buckeye State Team

Mary Jo Hudson, the new director of the Ohio Department of Insurance, has reworked the department’s organizational chart.

Hudson has:

- Combined the Office of Life and Health with the Office of Property and Casualty. John Pedrick, who has been an assistant director in the department, now will run a combined Office of Life and Health and Property and Casualty.

- Combined the Office of Consumer Services with the Market Conduct Division to form an Office of Consumer Affairs.

- Combined the Office of Fraud and Enforcement with the Licensing Division to form the Office of Fraud, Enforcement and Licensing. The new office will be led by Anne Thomson, who has been an assistant director in the department.

- Formed a new Health Insurance Policy Section. The section will be run by Wendy Pestrrue, a new assistant director.
