A unit of Starmount Life Insurance Company will be giving dental plan members more choices about how to replace missing teeth.
AlwaysCare Benefits will start offering Endosteal implant benefits instead of a conventional fixed, 3-unit bridge starting March 1, according to Starmount, Baton Rouge, La., AlwaysCare’s parent.
AlwaysCare also will cover the crowns placed on the implants, Starmount says.
Implant coverage is subject to the member’s plan maximum, coinsurance, deductibles, and other limitations and exclusions, Starmount says.
