A major player in the life insurance and annuity markets has agreed to license more systems from Computer Sciences Corp.
Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Lansing, Mich., a unit of CSC, El Segundo, Calif., will be combining the CSC Claims Management Accelerator system and the CSC Customer Service Accelerator system with several other CSC systems that are already in place.
Jackson National will be using the Claims Management system to replace an in-house system, CSC says.
Jackson National needs the new systems to handle organic growth and the addition of 1.6 million life insurance policies acquired in 2005, CSC says.
