Eldorado Computing Inc. has released a software package aimed at independent health plan administrators.

The new HEALTHpac Fusion system includes a bundle of several new and updated software applications, such as a core claims and workflow system, a module that handles HIPAA and X-12 standards compliance, and a customer service data management system, according to Eldorado, Phoenix, which does business as MphasiS Healthcare Solutions.

The bundle also includes the WEBeci payer Web site, for benefit queries & resolutions, a case management system, a billing system, the CDHpac consumer-directed health care account management system, a reporting system and all available application program interfaces, MphasiS says.

MphasiS will be asking customers to pay a 25% deposit at installation and pay the rest of the bill for a system in 3 equal installments over the next 3 years.

For a firm with 20,000 lives, the initial deposit would be $24,000, and the firm would pay another $72,000 over 3 years, MphasiS says.
