Financial Industries Corp. has formed a marketing alliance with Tribute Direct Inc.
Investors Life Insurance Company of North America, an arm of Financial Industries, Austin, Texas, sells the Eagle Select funeral insurance policy.
Tribute Direct runs a Web-based funeral planning services that gives the ability record their plans and choose items such as flowers and caskets.
Combining the TributeDirect.com Web site and the Eagle Expense policy can give consumers the ability to both to plan a funeral and to pay for it, according to Financial Industries.
The Investors Life unit uses an outside company to underwrite the Eagle Select policies at a cost based on the number of applications processed, Financial Industries says.
