Hartford Life To Add Windsor Campus

One of the giants in the Nutmeg State job market is expanding.

Hartford Life, a unit of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, will be building a 450,000-square-foot campus in Windsor, Conn., Hartford Financial says.

Windsor already is the headquarters town for LIMRA International.

The new campus will start by providing space for 2,000 Hartford Life employees, and the site is big enough for Hartford Life to add 150,000 more square feet of office space, Hartford Financial says.

Hartford Financial, a company that has been doing business in Connecticut since 1810, now employs a total of 30,000 people around the world and 13,000 in Connecticut.
