National Planning Holdings Inc. is trying to simplify Web life for representatives who work with its broker-dealer affiliates.
NPH, Santa Monica, Calif., a unit of Prudential P.L.C., London, says reps now can use several different NPH affiliate software programs simultaneously on one screen, by going through a single desktop log in process.
Reps also will be able to personalize the look and feel of their desktops, NPH says.
In the past, reps who worked with NPH and its INVEST Financial Corp., Investment Centers of America Inc., SII Investments Inc. and National Planning Corp. affiliates have been able to use only one electronic order-entry system at a time.
