M Financial Announces Deals

A financial services marketing consortium has expanded one relationship and started a new relationship.

M Financial, Portland, Ore., now will be offering all group products from the Wellesley, Mass.-based U.S. arm of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto, to consortium members.

The consortium agreed in February to offer Sun Life life insurance and annuity products to member firms.

The new agreement will increase member firms’ access to Sun Life group life, group disability and stop-loss products, according to Sun Life.

In related news, M Financial has announced that BryanMark Financial Group Inc., St. Louis, has become a provisional member firm.

BryanMark sells wealth transfer, executive compensation and business succession planning services to companies and wealthy individuals.

Jason Hackmann started the firm in 2004.
