Two insurers say they will be continuing efforts to help employers manage group disability insurance, family leave and workers’ compensation programs.

MetLife Inc., New York, and the Travelers unit of the St. Paul Travelers Companies Inc., St. Paul, Minn., have renewed their Synchrony absence management services venture agreement.

The agreement, started in 1998, now covers about 180,000 workers, according to MetLife and Travelers.
