Units of a large dental holding company will be offering a choice between tight and loose options in 10 more states.
Delta Dental plans that are part of Dentegra Group Inc., San Francisco, will be introducing the 2-choice program in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
The program, available to employers with 100 or more enrollees, gives employees the ability to choose between a prepaid plan with a relatively small dentist plan and rich benefits or a fee-for-service program that offers access to more dentists but more limited coverage.
